Successful Variation of ADVO Conditions for a Client

In a recent case handled by our law firm, we successfully assisted a defendant client who had been imposed with an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO). During the first hearing, we sought to vary the conditions of the ADVO to enable our client to continue working with the victim, who is also the manager of the defendant.

The Magistrate made an order with consent to vary the ADVO which allows our client to fulfill his work responsibilities while adhering to the legal requirements of the ADVO. We demonstrated that the variation of the ADVO conditions was essential for our client to maintain his employment and livelihood, while still ensuring the safety and well-being of the victim.
